What will introduce after Samsung launched Galaxy S3

Summary:  Samsung Galaxy S III is undoubtedly the most dazzling Android mobile in this year, but Samsung absolutely not satisfied with the status quo, now Let’s take a look what products Samsung going to launch in the future.

1.Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G headed to MetroPCS

Though the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G is a far cry from the high-end devices that are currently available in the market today, the handset still has quite a number of tricks up its sleeves that might want you to seriously consider jumping ship to MetroPCS. The carrier already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G will be offered at $459 off-contract and will give its users access to live television streaming. With the Dyle application preinstalled on the handset, users of the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G can stream television using the 4G network of the carrier even while on the go.

2.Galaxy Discover for TracFone.

The ultra-budget prepaid carrier doesn't currently offer any branded smartphones, so the Galaxy Discover could end up being its first. It's slated to get Android 4.0, Bluetooth 3.0, "ample" internal storage, and external expansion up to 32GB. This one looks a bit like an original Galaxy S, too, but features three capacitive buttons along the bottom instead of the classic four.

3.Galaxy Stellar for Verizon.

This is the phone that leaked last month as the "Jasper,” a Droid Charge successor that keeps the original's unusual pointy chin. It's tapped to get a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 2,100mAh battery, Android 4.0, and — of course — LTE.

4.Galaxy Stratosphere 2 for Verizon.

Samsung doesn't seem to have any intention of pushing QWERTY sliders globally, but American carriers are clearly still asking for them — and that's where the Stratosphere 2 comes into play. The follow-on to last year’s Stratosphere, this new model features global GSM roaming capability, SAFE approval to make IT departments happy, S Beam, and S Voice.

5.Galaxy Victory 4G LTE for Sprint.

Leaked several weeks ago under model number SPH-L300, the unwieldy name underpins a phone that will likely slot in underneath the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S III in Sprint's portfolio: Android 4.0, LTE support, NFC, a 5-megapixel camera, and WVGA display are all rumored to be on tap.

Now Windows Phone 8 is getting closer to its release date. Rumors have leaked that Samsung will release its series phone, include Samsung GT-I8370 Omnia(Marco)and Samsung GT-I8750 Omnia(Odyssey)”。

It remains to see what phone Samsung will bring to us.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 on sale after 2012 Olympic

The London 2012 Olympic Games have become a legend a few days ago.As the Official Worldwide Olympic Partner in Wireless Communications Equipment for the London 2102 Olympic Games, Samsung reap sales during the Olympics Games. Good news continues, Yesterday Samsung Company announced at an event in New York that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet will go on sale Aug. 16. Today the company's new Tablet Galaxy Note 10.1 officially listed in the U.S.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 comes in two models: The 16 GB version retails at $499 and the 32 GB model retails at $549. Color white and dark gray are provided, which you can buy from Best Buy, Amazon and other retailers. Samsung’s new tablets compete with Apple's iPad and the upcoming Microsoft Surface tablet.

In fact, Galaxy Note the first is a 5.3 inches smart phones, because of its size ranged between smartphones and tablet PCs, dubbed the "Phablet (Phablet = phone + the tablet).  Galaxy Note 10.1 is not a cellphone, but compared with the Galaxy Note with a smaller body, version 10.1 also equipped with a pressure-sensitive stylus, called S Pen.

S Pen can be used for the Galaxy Note 10.1 multi-screen display function, users can browse the applications or Web pages, while also use the S Pen to take notes at the same time.

Things get interesting once you start using the S Pen. As soon as you remove the stylus from its housing, a pop-up menu will appear on the right side of the screen that displays all the apps that are designed to work with the S Pen. This includes S Note, S Planner, Crayon Physics, Photoshop Touch and Polaris Office.

Photoshop Touch is pre-installed in the Galaxy Note 10.1. Files can be synchronized to the Adobe Creative Cloud, and open on the PC. Adobe Creative Cloud provides 2GB of free storage space.

The same application software pre-installed in the Galaxy Note 10.1 also includes e-books from Kno and Barnes & Noble. Users can also get Drop box cloud storage capacity of 50GB free for two years.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will still run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with 1.4-GHz quad-core processor. As far as hardware, the Galaxy Note 10.1 isn’t a real standout, which has a 10.1-inch display with a 1,280 by 800 pixel resolution. It also has a 5 million pixel camera and a 1.9 million pixel front camera.

Galaxy Note 10.1 also provides the form of a floating window to play the video, function as “Pop up the Play". This feature first appeared on Samsung's Galaxy S III smartphone. But on Galaxy Note 10.1, the user can adjust the size of the floating window.

For now, and for most people, the iPad is still the better buy. The main reason is that there's much more, and better, third-party software available for it. But the Galaxy Note shows that the pressure is building on the iPad, and Apple will have to work if it wants to maintain its lead. So whether people are willing to pay a premium for a stylus and a few extra apps remains to be seen.

Samsung galaxy s3 review

With the developing of the mobile Internet, Smart phones have become the most important mobile Internet access terminals. Users put forward higher requirements for all aspects of the smartphone. Samsung launched GALAXY S3 quad-core mobile phone earlier this summer which is a high-end hardware spec smartphone, and it's an impressive device with over 10 million units sold already. Rumors also say Samsung seems to be lining up a black version of the popular Galaxy S3 smartphone.

The screen of Samsung GALALXY S3 is the largest one of the highlights. In addition to 4.8 inches large screen size, the resolution is also reached to the highest standards in the current mobile phone - Standard HD specification, 1280x720 pixels, which means that if we watch 720p HD movies on the Samsung GALAXY S3, it can "point to point play. In addition, the Samsung S3 fuselage used the second-generation gorilla glass of Corning. Compared to the first generation, the wear resistance and strength raising a lot, but also thinner, more robust ability resistant to scratches.

The AMOLED display gives the S3 a longer lasting battery compared to, say, the HTC One X and it’s better looking but more power hungry Super LCD 2. All things considered, Samsung really knocked the display out of the park with this device. The screen looks absolutely beautiful without sucking the battery dry. Super AMOLED is also equipped with mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology which let Mobile phone make respond to quickly.

Samsung GALALXY S3 uses Samsung's own quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Processor, you can operate more tasks instantly, there is also a substantial increase in its processing speed and energy saving compared to the dual-core. And enhanced graphics capabilities allow you to experience the silky smooth picture display. Compared to the Galaxy S2, S3 performance improves. The boot time become shorter, and the speed of application launch and web browsing has improved.

With a powerful quad-core performance in the Samsung GALALXY S3, the PIP function (Pop Up Play) can watch the video, while checking the mail, browse the Web or send text messages, but also allows video playback and custom sizes suspended in a variety of interface.

Samsung and Android extends dominance in smartphones worldwide

IDC latest data show that Google’s Android and Apple iOS accounted for 85% of the entire smartphone market in the second quarter of this year.

Samsung Electronics Co. and other phone makers shipped nearly 105 million Android smartphones in the latest quarter, giving Android 68 percent of the worldwide market, up from 47 percent last year. And this helped Google's operating system extend its dominance in the smartphone market. IPhone iOS platform followed, its market share reached 16.9%.

With the expansion of Google’s Android and iOS, the BlackBerry OS, Symbian and Windows mobile phones continue to be squeezed. Although RIM is in financial trouble, the BlackBerry OS still ranked third, accounting for 4.8 percent market share, it is a shame compared to the performance of 11.5% in the second quarter of 2011.

What’s worse, the Symbian system has decreased from 16.9% to 4.4%. The share of Windows phones grew to 3.5 percent, from 2.3 percent, in the latest quarter. The Lumia of Nokia failed to stimulate significant growth of the platform

In the past 12 weeks, the main reason of Android smartphone sales increase is due to many Apple users are waiting for the new iPhone-iPhone5. And Rumors have said the new iPhone will released in September. Although Apple’s market share have increased from 28.7 percent to 38.2 percent in US. But only in UK, Apple's mobile phone market share increased from 20.8% to 22.9 percent this year, the market share of other European countries are varying degrees of decline.

“Samsung’s Galaxy S III phone received good reviews when it was released late in the second quarter”, Dominic Sunnebo said. And that’s why Samsung extends dominance in smartphones worldwide.

Samsung VS Apple: the new product fight

The current global smartphone manufacturers are undoubtedly Samsung and Apple, and the competition between the two is all-round, not only the Patent Trial but also the product line are secretly soared awkward. Recently, the U.S. federal judge rejected the previous request of the Apple. Last year, in federal court in San Jose, California, Apple claims Samsung saying it copied the design of the iPhone and iPad; Subsequently, Samsung, launched a counterclaim.

The lawsuits between the two will eventually reconciliation, and now the two companies are stepping up their own product layout. Samsung has confirmed that the new generation of the Galaxy Note will released on August 29 while rumors saying Apple’s new iPhone release date will advance in two weeks. The media also predicted that the new Galaxy Note features a strong 5.5-inch screen, slightly larger than the existing models, and will with a faster processor and better camera. Although Apple has the proud iPhone product, but since Samsung launched the Galaxy series, it has excellent contacts in the smartphone market. This is why Samsung ranked first in the world smartphone market.

What are the advantages of the two rely on? Apple: the fanatical fan, the relatively low cost, high profit margins of huge third party support and industry chain, the unique system, potential developers. Samsung: more comprehensive product line, both the characteristics of the product meet the gradual rise demand of the user, Android's own open source, and a good relations with operator , the relative price span.

In the second quarter of this year, Samsung smartphone shipments reached 50 million, while the iPhone for 26 million, as twice as higher. Apple will release a new iPhone in September this year, a report released by JP Morgan Chase recently; saying the year's production of iPhone will reach 59 million if iPhone5 can bring a greater change.

JP Morgan expects Apple will sell 39.5 million iPhone 5 in the fourth quarter of this year; 37.8 million can be sold in the first quarter of 2013. If Apple can bring about it, then the pressure of the Samsung becomes greater.  Samsung's new flagship Galaxy S III, achieved sales of over ten million results in just two month. And this is the important models of Samsung to compete with iPhone5.

In addition to the smartphone, in the tablet market, Samsung has been glued to the Apple iPad strategies. According to Samsung invitations distributed to the media, Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet PC with a stylus recently. It is reported the Galaxy Note 10.1 is a full-featured tablet computer and fully taps the characteristics of the stylus to interact with the office tools. With the success of the iPad, Apple is also considering the smaller market and some of the tablets, like the iPad Mini enter people's vision. If Apple launched iPad Mini, it will affect Samsung Tablet PC shipments. After all, in the tablet market, the advantage of the Apple iPad is greater while other Tablet PC manufacturer’s market influence is negligible. In the new product market, we see that the Samsung and Apple are not on the same way. The change of Apple iPhone5 is a move in order to adapt in the market, undoubtedly Samsung do better in this aspect.

Samsung could be building Windows Phone 8 devices

Think of Samsung and Android comes to mind. The Korean tech giant may be synonymous with its Galaxy S smartphones, but it could be building two devices for Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 platform.

The information surfaced in court documents revealed during ongoing the Apple-Samsung trial, displaying Windows Phone 8 devices. "Odyssey" is a codename for a phone, featuring a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor and 4G LTE. There's also a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, along with an 8-megapixel camera. Samsung describes the devices as "iconic".

The second device is dubbed "Marco" and has a 4-inch Super AMOLED display and 4G LTE support. Samsung omitted the "iconic" branding adjective for this device. It's not the Omnia M, launched August 1 in the UK. The device does feature a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, but runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and doesn't offer 4G LTE. The UK, currently, only widely offers 3G.

It's going to be interesting to see if Google continues to warmly support Samsung. Microsoft undoubtedly wants high-end devices from the company, especially considering the success of the Galaxy S3. Nokia sold 4 million Lumia devices, a fraction of the 10 million S3's that Samsung has sold in just over two months.

Forbes suggested that Samsung's development for the platform could encourage skeptical manufacturers. Samsung launched the Omnia 7 smartphone during the launch of the mobile OS, but Windows Phone has struggled to gain momentum. A high-end device, along with Nokia's next phone for Windows Phone 8, could be the catalyst.

Samsung may simply want to broaden its smartphone portfolio. It may feel that its devices can hit a market (high-end) which Nokia hasn't dominated.

Also interesting is how Microsoft approaches its relationship with Samsung. Nokia and the software giant have a close relationship, so will Samsung's devices be as striking as the Lumia 900?

Forbes predicted that the market could shift from Android to Windows Phone 8. Considering Android's dominance alongside iOS, Google isn't going away soon. Samsung may be a stepping stone, but the catalyst could be the cross-platform development between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The success of Windows 8, and Metro - the UI used across the desktop and mobile OSs, will impact Microsoft's mobile operating system.
